Summary:
          The story of one of the greatest baseball players of all time is depicted in this autobiography.  The story begins when Babe first started playing with a ball before he even loved the game.  Throughout the story their pictures of original Babe Ruth baseball cards that were found in bubble gum tins.  While he only played baseball for eight years Babe Ruth not only set a record for most home runs in a season but, he even broke his own record.  This is a classic story of an American hero, and will be loved by boys of all ages.  The facts and realistic pictures play to boys reading interests and have short enough writing that even younger children will enjoy this book.
