Summary:
The Franny K. Stein chapter book series is adorable. Her mad scientist experiments interest boys and her gender interests the girl. She has a spunky little attitude and experiments and create machines like her dooms day device. However, her dog/weasle/ lab assistant eats the dooms day device unknowingly while entranced by the television. While eating the device Igor activated the countdown. Franny has to find some way to extract the device and disarm it before it blows most of the world away. I would share this book with resentful readers because it is similar to the Captain Underpants Series and has cute doodles and short text.
