Summary:
This is an adorable story about a young girl quick on her feet. The story starts off as with a dusty yellow heat wave rolling in. The little girl proves to her family, and her brother, that a girl can be a farmer. She becomes the solution in everything that could go wrong in this humorous story of a heat wave that rolls through Kansas. You’ll have to read to witness all the funny mishaps that happen along the way. This would be a great story to talk about problem solving and what you would do in that situation.
